Concert Bands
The Concert Bands (Blue Concert Band & Gold Concert Band) are two auditioned, equal-ability level, full-instrumentation ensembles which rehearse and perform during both the fall and spring semesters. Concert Band members are versatile musicians who are challenged to create music at the highest artistic level. The Concert Bands perform superb band literature suited to the group’s level of ability and instrumentation.
PREREQUISITE:
An audition is required for placement into the Concert Bands. Auditions take place in August.
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE:
(August – May. Co-currently with the Regiment in the fall semester)
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 6:45 – 7:50am
&
Tuesday: 4:00 – 5:00pm (master classes)
Tuesday evening rehearsal
