Symphonic Band

The Symphonic Band comprises approximately 40 student musicians, performs a variety of wind band literature, and rehearses and performs during both semesters of the school year (August–May). This ensemble is designed primarily as a training group. It mainly comprises underclassmen and a few industrious juniors and seniors who desire to start on a second instrument or wish to better themselves by playing for an additional hour daily.

PREREQUISITE:

This is an open-enrollment class. No audition is required for placement into the Symphonic Band. Students of all grade levels and playing abilities are welcome to participate. NOTE – Freshmen are all enrolled in both Regiment (marching band) AND either Symphonic Band or Jazz Band.
